Organic Labeling Links *Below...
To Simplify Links/Info below so you don't spend a bunch of time trying to
decode and decipher convolution if you don't want to....
If you buy/eat things that aren't 100% organic then thanks to our AWESOME
STANDARDS (Not!), your probably poisoning yourself.
Does this news make you sad/angry/stressed... Do what I did, suck it up and
make it yourself with 100% Organic or chemical free free/organically grown
products. If you can't find them to make it
do what I do and go with out until you can find them, or until you can
grow/produce it yourself.
Vote against those that perpetuate the demise of nutritious, real, food. You can
make those votes count 3 times a day when you eat or they can be incrementally
squandered along with your health.
P.S. "100% Organic" may sound "purist" and snotty but don't get lost in the weeds over it. What your really want is to know where things you buy come from and what they did to it to produce it/prepare it, etc... (Know Your Farmer/Supplier And Develop A Good Trusting Relationship) If they aren't certified organic BIG WHOOP! - Being chemical free is what is crucial because the word organic means less and less what it used to. (you might need to do some extra truth seeking to know what I mean here - maybe I'll get back to explaining better and linking latter) Again what is crucial is that your food is as close to it's original state as possible for it to be beneficial and yes, even healing to you.
So that means...
NO processing
NO Irradiation
NO chemicals
(Oh Dear, what about the bugs? - brush em' off, cut em' out, or eat em'. Placing
vanity before your health or your food... not a good idea. If the way your food/produce
looks sways you away from
chemical due to looks, or bugs... I say both vain and insane. - IE. The
occasional sign of imperfect looking food and/or bugs should typically be more a
comfort than a concern. But also note... Most of the time if the soil is health
the plant will be healthy and produce healthy looking food, and the "bad" bugs
don't like healthy food. So what I said is about seeing bugs and rougher looking
food on occasion seems to be a contradiction but I know that not every square
foot of your soil may not be perfect (even with chemical free/organic
production) so if you find a product to be less than desired due to one of these
reasons don't be concerned as long as you know the source and that they really
are chemically free/organically grown (water, sunshine, and cover cropping to
release and replenish nutrients back into the soil, for the plants, for the
food, for your health. (The Matrix had anomalies, so to can even the best
organic/chemical free fruits and veggies)
NO GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms - A.K.A. Genetic
Mutation/Engineering)
NO preservatives
NO Additives
NO Dies
NO Natural flavors
NO Hormones
NO Pasteurization
NO non grass fed, fee-range dairy (NOT FROM THE SUPER MARKET - THAT IS TOTALLY
MISLEADING) - Yes this again requires you to know the source, talk to the farmer, have a
good relationship with them, keep open lines of communication, if you get bad
"vibes" about them then confront them with your concerns. If they respond well
to you good, then you have mutually helped each other, if not then look for
someone else.)
NO words in the ingredients that you can't pronounce and/or things that you
don't know for sure what they are.
NO buying from people at the Farmers Markets, CSAs, Food Stands,
Supermarkets, or other such places that can't convince you beyond a shadow of a
doubt that what they are selling you is all of these and absolutely non of the
other. Again I must emphatically stress RELATIONSHIP WITH THE SELLER / KNOW THE
SOURCE.
And I'm not just talking veggies, I mean Chicken, Beef, Dairy, Eggs, Baked
Goods, All of it!
The NO list really goes on and on. I can't take the time to say it all.
You just
need to keep educating yourself and arm yourself against
academia, health officials, TV and radio commercial disinformation, and yes,
most likely against your own doctors advice. Yeah ditch the medical doctor! Put
your health in your own hands! You are
your own best physician. Pay close attention to your body so you can self
diagnose and with those observations seek natural, complementary approaches.
This part should make you feel a little better...
Even still, here and there I realize/find things I have been buying and eating
that are not ideal / harmful which of course frustrates me and makes me a little
sad because it means something new to learn to do/make or else something else to
do with out. Most recent example "Was buying "Organic Tortilla Chips from Target
- I was happy to have finally found an organic chip only about 1 hour away. Well
a few months after finding them now I have found new info (the links below) that
informs me that at least 5% is not safe (it's seems a small enough amount to the
untrained, dubious, unsuspecting, consumer, but I know for certain
that there in those seemingly small percentages of this and that unmentioned or
generalized is where the poisons and damaging things sneak in - negatively
affecting and latter manifesting in negative effects that are difficult to trace
back to it's origins. These little harmful amounts are accumulative and
eventually build up to cause a gamete of issues, you name it, from allergies and
obesity, to pain and sickness, to disease and even death. The side effects,
(better said: the effects) of this harmful so-called food go on and on. Have
any issues? 9 times out of 10 you can trace that back to what's in food that
shouldn't be there, or how it was grown/raise/produced/prepared, or what food
you should be eating that your not.
Pure food Good Health
We really need more food producers and manufacturers with a "purist" mind set. Is it really so hard a concept to grasp - safe, pure, just food?!?!
And another PS. - Thank Goodness we still have
mandatory labeling (YouTube: Codex Alimentarius) to see what I mean.
