“Farming by the purest standards - far beyond organic.”

Although our farm is not organically certified it is chemical free and everything grown and raised exceeds today’s organic standards.
As “organic” standards are increasingly compromised – we hold true to providing products as pure as nature intended.
*to know more see: “organic issues” – on our site.

Would you like…

pure, chemical free, organically grown, nutrient dense, sustainable, heirloom, local, healthy, fresh, tasty, produce?

something healthier than fast food & processed meals but feel like you can’t afford it?

to heal yourself or someone you love of a health issue or a disease? Yes good food will do that!

pure, nourishing foods give your body the “ingredients” it needs to heal its self & further maintain your health

to grow your own garden but fear you don’t have the ability, energy or hours to spare?

an abundance of pure, delectable produce and food for less money and labor? Many hands make light work.

a unique experience to sharpen your skills and expand your food pantry by working with and learning from others?

to know more about nature, gardening, planting, harvesting, food, health, natural cures and more?

to broaden your cooking skills with a wider variety of produce & turn old recipes into new, exciting, nutritious, savory meals?

to be part of helping the environment and preserving nature which ultimately is good and essential for us all?

to be part of a community farm that raises heritage breeds only & is kind, loving, respectful & humane to their animals?

healthy, flavorful, freshly prepared meals made only from pure, chemical free, organically grown products?

an endeavor we wish to undertake with others that understand this importance & want to work together to make it happen

to volunteer your time and be rewarded with fresh produce worth your time?

one volunteer hour is equivalent to $10.00 of pure, organically grown, fresh produce (like “wwoofing.org”)

If you are interested in volunteering in exchange for produce, that’s fantastic! We need all the help we can get. Please get in touch with us.

The things above are our focus. The things below are future visions.

The above aspects are just a starting point. There are so many other great things that can be created. Whether ‘farm hand’ or ‘business tycoon’; there is a place for most anyone. Have you ever dreamed of having an organic sit down/drive through restaurant in town?! Let’s work together & make it happen! Together likeminded visionaries, entrepreneurs, investors, etc. can brainstorm and pool resources to create a network of other health focused P.B.O. projects and services. To list a few…  1) An organic only restaurant with a side feature of organic hops ale, 2) A daily delivery route for farm fresh produce and restaurant made meals, 3) Dehydrated food for travel convenience & emergency storage,  4) Wet & dry pet food for a wide range of pets that are ‘especially loved’ etc…  Everyone’s involvement, thoughts, suggestions, critiques, criticism, etc. is all quite welcome.

Call to mastermind with us. Let’s dream big and go big!

Note: In regards to the “group effort”/“community kitchen” meals… this relies on response & involvement.

Should volunteers help for just a “thank you”? – We don’t think so!

If you would like to help/volunteer your time we will gladly reward you with produce, product or credit worth your time.
1 volunteer hour is equivalent to $10.00 of pure, organically grown, fresh produce, product or credit; entirely your decision. There won’t be much produce to choose from in the beginning, so we will credit you until produce or products that you desire to buy is available. Colder weather produce such as lettuce, peas, sprouts, spinach, radishes, etc. will be available within approximately 2 months, so don’t worry, you won’t have to wait very long to use your credit.

Would you be able to help us on May 21st - 22nd and/or May 27th - May 30th?

Memorial Day Weekend and the prior weekend has traditionally been the ideal “window of opportunity” to plant the warmer weather crops. It will be a “mad dash” to plant as much as we can during this time. The extra help during this period will be especially needed. If you can help please save the date & call us to RSVP with as much advance as possible.  And yes, any amount of “time served” will gladly be reward with produce, product, or credit - your choice.  This is applicable to any help from anyone, anytime it’s needed.

How many regular volunteers are we looking for and how often do we need them?

Initially we are looking for a few volunteers to help every day of the week (including weekends) for a 3 to 4 hour period each day. It does not need to be the same person every day, so if you can spare only that amount of time for merely one day a week that would be just fine. We simply ask that those interested in doing this will be able to do so consistently from week to week throughout the season. There will occasionally be other projects that come up which will require more time and hands so even if you don’t “make the cut” we will put you on a volunteer standby list. Let us know your areas of skill and when possible we will coordinate those skills with projects that need them most.

What are some things we would need help with?

Watering

Green Houses

Weeding

Chicken Coops

Mulching

Organic food is expensive is it? – Have you compared the upfront to the hidden costs?

Pay Now (Buying Organic)

Advantages…
Good health

No sickness

No disease
No doctor & hospital visits
No Expensive medical Bills

No Expensive poisons (oops, I mean prescriptions)
No Expensive & painful ”treatments”

No lost productivity or missed opportunities–you’ll feel great
No damage to health because chemicals are not used
No damage to environment because chemicals are not used

A wise investment in the true farmacy w/ certain good returns
You risk nothing you gain everything (be smart & budget)

Inexpensive & painless dietary prevention
Luck is made by your choices – it won’t run out if they’re good
Less expensive health insurance - if any
Maybe major medical in case of an accident? We don’t have

or want anything. Some say it’s “crazy” but we know other-

wise. It’s a trap to keep you in fear and system dependent.

* Change your future’s course by the foods you’re eating now

Disadvantages...

More expensive (depending on where and what you buy)

Conclusion:

Good Deal

Pay Later (Buying Conventional)

Disadvantages...
Poor health
Sickness-Colds, Flu, Headaches, Depression, Joint Pain, Fatigue, etc.
Disease-Cancer, Diabetes, Impotence, Heart Disease, ADD, HBP, etc.
Doctor & hospital visits

Expensive medical bills up the “wa-zoo”
Expensive poisons (oops, did it again - I mean prescriptions)
Expensive & painful ”treatments”

Lost productivity and missed opportunities – you won’t feel as good

Damage to health from chemicals used
Damage to environment from chemicals used

A reckless wager against the phony pharmacy w/ certain awful losses
You risk everything you gain only what you “save” (cross your fingers)

Expensive & Painful “treatments”
Luck is made by your choices – it will run out if they’re bad

More expensive health insurance - full coverage
If you’re going to put your body through that you best “protect”
yourself with something. Although a paper umbrella will do more
good in a rainstorm than medical care will for your health.
* Change your future’s course by the foods you’re eating now

Advantages…

Cheaper (you get what you pay for – and then some)

Conclusion:

Bad Deal

Important Notes:
1.) “Not all organic is created equally” but it is definitely better than the alternative. See our site for “organic issues” information.
1.) Sickness & disease is one of the irrefutable effects and byproducts of the conventional food production system.
2.) You can kid yourself and say: “Pay more for dietary prevention? Bah! That’s what insurance is for.” – In the end the joke’s on you.
3.) Things of value do not come cheap. You get what you pay for – good or bad.
*In this case that pertains quite literally & metaphorically.
(Pay for good [organic] you get good [healthy]. Pay for bad [conventional] you get bad [sickness & disease].

Are we cocky and full of it?!  Cocky perhaps, but full of it not at all!

So what makes us so sure that healthy food is really “the bee’s knees”?!

Notice the huge amount of sickness and disease and how most, if not all roads to the answers lead back to nutrition.

Your body’s at war!
It won’t win those everyday battles if you don’t supply it with the nutritional ammunition & reinforcements it needs.
