Subject: Problem With Item

I am extremely upset to report that I went to Sports Authority to have these tanks filled, and the young man said that both are defective and cannot be filled. he held them up to my ear and I could clearly hear parts rattling inside. He said it would be a danger and they cannot attempt to fill them, that the tanks would have to be replaced. I have been buying on ebay for a long time and have never received TWO defective items right out of the package. I am sure that you do not want me to leave feedback regarding this, and I will not, if you will send me two working replacements. I do not think I should have to pay shipping to return two items which were shipped to me in a defective state. Please respond as soon as possible as to whether you will voluntarily send working replacements. I don't want to have to file a complaint with paypal if it isn't necessary. Thank you Rachel

you do not have to worry or be angry.
(so we are clear, i sell stuff - i don't make it, so make sure you direct what anger you have towards JT/Brass Eagle/View Loader *same company)
Now... what to do about it...
If you want to replace the valves - which is a simple process - then i can send you 2 new valves.
you can screw the old ones off and then put the 2 new ones on. (while you have the old ones off,,, shake the bottles upside down and get the things out of them that rattle.
I will bet money that there is nothing wrong with them to begin with, - sometimes tanks do have things in them that rattle pieces of metal or hard pieces of lock tight left over from the machining / manufacturing process.
you just take the top of the tank, shake it out and put the top back on the tank with some red lock tight - so it won't come back off easily.

Or you can put them back in the original box and packaging and write in big letters "RETURN TO SENDER" you do not need to pay anything to do this - it is free - do not let your shipping office charge you.
It will come back to me.
When it does i will either fix them or just send you different ones.
Sorry this happened to you, it is not my intention to send things that don't work.
I will always be as helpful as i can in these situations.

Question/Comment: After standing in line almost an hour, the post office refused to take the package. They say that once it has been opened they do not have to return to sender. They say that you must send me a prepaid shipping label to return this since the box was opened. Will you please send a return label so I can return these defective items? Thank you

I am not sure why your post office wouldn't accept the package. they should have. i haven't had any problems with it before. i am a reseller i don't make the products and i don't break them. the company that i buy them from will need them back so i can send you new ones. you need to send them back if you want them to be replaced. we need to work together on this. you can't just expect me to pay for everything and send you more free stuff when i don't even know for sure that the other ones are damaged. i did not damage them. please work with me and i will work with you. if you want to keep those ones and try to have them fixed like i said before i can send you new parts to replace the old ones. i can resell you more of the item you bought at a discounted rate. let me know. thanks dave

They did not accept it because legally they have no obligation to "Return to Sender" once the package has been opened. Are you saying that YOU send me two defective items, and you expect ME to pay to return them to you? Just checking, because that's exactly what I'm going to put in the feedback if that's what you expect of me. Please state that you are demanding that I pay the return postage to return these items. The feedback will reflect this demand.

I am NOT demanding anything such. You are free to keep the items and I am willing to send you the parts to fix them. Like I said I did not damage them. This is an error with the manufacturer if they indeed are damaged. If you were working directly with the manufacturer they would require the product be sent back to them before they could fix the situation for you.
Please refer to the Returns Info section of the ebay sale. I am willing to work with you and have offered suggestions but you are not willing to see it from both sides. Again, I am not demanding you do anything. We are both grown ups and can choose to be civil to one another or not.

I don't think you realize that the alternative you are offering is for me to go out and purchase tools in order to tamper with items that were sold as new in package (and probably void the warranty). This is not reasonable. If you will not send a prepaid shipping label to return these defective items, then you ARE demanding that I pay for this cost myself. This is unreasonable, since you did not sell the items "as is". If you are refusing to send a prepaid shipping label, please send the name and address to which the items must be returned, with the understanding that I will make a note in feedback that you refused to pay return shipping for the defective items you sold to me.

if you want to catch peoples attention the best way is to put some writing in your picture.
Say "Junk - Reed Listing"
or "Knock of Garbage - Get Smart - Read Listing"
Stuff like that.
Cuz people often shop by pictures - not words.
I almost made the mistake my self, and I'm a pretty well seasoned ebayer

I am afraid if I put junk maybe people wouldn't read, that is why I changed the listing from new to used. I would have refunded your payment no problem. I had one person that gave me a neutral feedback because he said it was a fake listing. I sent him and email and ask him how many he wants, I will ship them for 50.00 ea. He actually complained because I cancelled his order. If I have the drives it is not fake, I only assume that you don't want it. I am trying to educate those people who have never heard of fake flash drives. I bought them to sell, I sold about 20 before I found out, then I had to recall all of them. I requested there return before anyone complained. I learned the hard way. Thanks for the feedback.
